\n\tFood authority Eater is bringing its annual tentpole event Off Menu to Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe event, taking place Sept. 19 at the conic Tam O\u2019Shanter restaurant, aim to highlight what\u2019s trending now and what\u2019s coming next to the dining<\/a> scene, according to organizers.\u00a0It will\u00a0feature dishes and drinks from local favorites such as Holbox, Pasjoli, Ji Rong, Quarter Sheets, Cafe Telegrama, Sumibiyakitori Kidori, Lawry\u2019s, Thunderbolt and Night on Earth.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tOther chefs from across the country, including Gregory Gourdet of Kann in Portland, Oregon, and Annie Shi and Jess Shadbolt of Dean\u2019s in New York City, also will bring a taste of their food to the event. Additional participants will be announced soon.<\/p>\n

\n\tLaunched in 2025, Off Menu brings offers event-goers the opportunity to taste \u201cdishes inspired by the trends, restaurant, and chefs shaping how we eat right now.\u201d It \u201ctranslates Eater\u2019s reporting into an unforgettable night of bites and experiences from the biggest names in food,\u201d organizers said.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cEater regularly forecasts and features the trends, chefs, restaurants, and dishes that are redefining America\u2019s food scene,\u201d said Stephanie Wu, Eater\u2019s editor-in-chief. \u201cOff Menu brings our editorial mission to life by connecting celebrated culinary institutions and standout food with a passionate community of diners.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition, ticket-holders will have special access to explore the iconic Tam O\u2019Shanter venue. Cathay Pacific will present a gateway to Asia in the Garden and Atrium where guests will enjoy yakitori, duck and champagne. Guests also will have the opportunity to enjoy drinks from the bar team behind Thunderbolt and Night on Earth, try ricotta pancakes from Caf\u00e9 Telegrama and sample\u00a0 British pub revival dishes from New York City hotspot Dean\u2019s.<\/p>\n

\n\tTickets are on sale starting Tuesday<\/a>. All tickets include all food and beverage, and Eater app users will receive a discount code prior to purchase.\u00a0Vox Media will contribute 100 percent of the net proceeds of all tickets sold online to World Central Kitchen, a nonprofit organization that provides fresh meals in response to humanitarian, climate and community crises.\u00a0<\/p>\n
