When he came back this year, he said he found a local market that hadn\u2019t kept pace with how customers now find businesses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat I find is that most businesses have not thought enough about their digital reputation and how it\u2019s represented,\u201d Haider said.<\/p>\n<p>In March he launched <a href=\"https:\/\/amirgetsjobs.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">AmirGetsJobs<\/a>, which he describes as Fresno\u2019s first \u201cAI-native\u201d agency \u2014 run by Haider and a set of AI agents rather than a conventional staff.<\/p>\n<p>Changing the referral source<\/p>\n<p>His argument starts with a fundamental part of Valley business \u2014 the referral.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you talk to Central Valley business owners, how they acquire customers, the first thing they will say is word of mouth,\u201d he said. A chatbot recommendation, in his view, does the same job, because users have built up trust with the assistant over months of useful answers.<\/p>\n<p>Haider says his client tracking shows that referrals arriving through AI convert at rates no other channel matches \u2014 17 times more likely to purchase, by his figures \u2014 and that once a chatbot names a business, \u201cthree out of four times they will call.\u201d The figures come from the agency\u2019s internal data.<\/p>\n<p>To measure it, Haider said his team runs roughly 50 queries a week across ChatGPT, Claude and Grok \u2014 questions like which immigration firm or irrigation contractor a Central Valley resident should call \u2014 and stores the results to see whether a client gets named. Each platform picks differently, he said, so a tactic that lifts a client on one gets tested across the others.<\/p>\n<p>Google rankings down, revenue up<\/p>\n<p>He has noticed two numbers moving in opposite directions, Haider said: rankings down, revenue up. Google\u2019s AI Overviews changed the job a website does, he said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou don\u2019t find your customers through your website any longer,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s no longer the days of a directory.\u201d The site converts visitors who have already decided to call.<\/p>\n<p>That has pushed clients beyond the Instagram-first playbook. \u201cYouTube is converting better for my clients than Instagram, or TikTok is working better for some clients versus the others,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Paid placement is coming, too. OpenAI began testing ads in ChatGPT in February and opened a self-serve platform to U.S. advertisers in May.
