CCSNN.ORG<\/a><\/p>\n ______________________THE NEED IS GREAT<\/p>\n Recent wildfires across Northern Nevada have destroyed and severely damaged homes and businesses, leaving families facing the difficult process of recovery and rebuilding.<\/p>\n The Hawk Fire alone resulted in 47 homes completely destroyed and another 14 severely damaged, along with significant damage to a large commercial property.<\/p>\n For families who have lost so much, recovery can be a long road. The Wildfire Fund Drive is giving Northern Nevadans an easy way to help their neighbors during that difficult time.<\/p>\n YOUR DONATION STAYS LOCAL<\/p>\n On Friday, KTVN 2 News<\/a>, Reno Media Group<\/a>, Atlantis Casino Resort Spa<\/a> and Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada<\/a> are joining forces for the Wildfire Fund Drive.<\/p>\n Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada<\/a> will be on site throughout the event, helping collect donations and assisting with the effort to get resources where they are needed.<\/p>\n The organization works closely with other nonprofit organizations in the community to help coordinate assistance for people facing difficult circumstances.<\/p>\n All money raised through the Wildfire Fund Drive will stay local and go toward helping people affected by the fires.<\/p>\n ______________________WHERE TO DONATE<\/p>\n The collection will be set up in the west parking lot of Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, near the Skywalk entrance along South Virginia Street.<\/p>\n Donating is designed to be easy.
