Kelly Osbourne declared she\u2019s \u201cnever been a California girl\u201d after ditching Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
The 41-year-old opened up to Hello! magazine<\/a> on Monday about her relocation from Hollywood back to the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n \u201cBeing home in the UK has changed a lot for me,\u201d she said in her cover story. \u201cIt\u2019s been great to be home, and making a life for me and my son where I can see he\u2019s truly happy.\u201d<\/p>\n Kelly Osbourne (pictured above in November 2024) opened up about her relocation to the United Kingdom in a new interview. Getty Images<\/p>\n The 41-year-old told Hello! magazine in Monday\u2019s cover story that she has \u201cnever been a California girl.\u201d Hello<\/p>\n The former reality star, notably, welcomed now-3-year-old son Sidney<\/a> with then-fianc\u00e9 Sid Wilson<\/a> in November 2022 \u2014 and their child is now a student at the same preschool in Buckinghamshire that she once attended.<\/p>\n \u201cI met my best friend on my first day at school and she\u2019s still my best friend. Her child goes there too; she\u2019s a bit older than my son but they\u2019re best friends too,\u201d Osbourne told the outlet. \u201cThey love each other.\u201d<\/p>\n She noted that gun violence influenced her decision to move, saying, \u201cI don\u2019t ever want to have to explain to my son what to do during a gun raid. Let me heal. I can\u2019t protect you from yourself anymore. Also while I\u2019m at it can I have my\u00a0dogs\u00a0back and all my possessions. Oh yeah and maybe some child support?\u201d<\/p>\n Last week, her brother Jack Osbourne told the Sun his sibling is in a \u201chappier place\u201d<\/a> post-breakup and has a \u201cgood routine going.\u201d<\/p>\n He added, \u201cShe\u2019s living out by the house and she\u2019s just doing her thing, being a mum. \u2026 She\u2019s focusing on her and her son.\u201d<\/p>\n Elsewhere in Monday\u2019s sitdown, Kelly spoke about navigating her dad Ozzy Osbourne\u2019s July 2025 death<\/a>.<\/p>\n Osbourne (pictured above in 2025) did not comment on the broken engagement in the interview. kellyosbourne\/Instagram<\/p>\n She did say her son (pictured above in April 5) attends the preschool she once went to. kellyosbourne\/Instagram<\/p>\n \u201cWe didn\u2019t put my dad in any sort of morgue,\u201d she said. \u201cHe came straight home and we got to spend a few days with him and mourn with him, and make sure that everything was the way we wanted it to be.\u201d<\/p>\n Kelly also addressed body-shaming comments<\/a> she received about her thin appearance while grieving<\/a> the Black Sabbath rocker.<\/p>\n \u201cI wasn\u2019t well,\u201d she said. \u201cHow can you navigate something so cruel when you\u2019re so sick? I\u2019m getting a lot better.
