It’s a dreamy and creamy cuisine with endless possibilities, though plenty of fans stick to the classic interpretations. The California Avocado Festival<\/a>, a free-to-enter extravaganza that is all about the alligator pear, in addition to a line-up of great bands, embraces all types of guac-a-tude, as well as other offbeat interpretations of avo-themed eats. The Carpinteria party, which unfurls in the heart of the beachside town, has become an early-October staple for both people seeking out a decadent dip (or two or three) as well as anyone who likes free tunes presented live.<\/p>\n

OCTOBER 2, 3, and 4… are the 2026 dates, and “Peace, Love, and Guacamole” remains the easy-breezy, good-vibes-only call to action. Over 60 bands are expected to appear and at least 15 food vendors, so making a day of it in downtown Carp is a terrific plan.
