Anduril Industries has received a $65 million U.S. Army order to produce hardware and mission shelters for eight mobile intelligence systems, part of a $192 million award shared with a subsidiary of Palantir Technologies.<\/p>\n
The order moves the program from prototyping to production, with the hardware scheduled to be built at Anduril\u2019s Costa Mesa facility. Anduril will provide four TITAN Advanced systems and four TITAN Basic systems, integrating the power, thermal, control and operator components. Palantir USG Inc., a subsidiary of Miami-based Palantir Technologies, is serving as the program team lead, Anduril said.<\/p>\n
TITAN enables soldiers to process data in real time from satellites, aircraft and ground systems in the field rather than routing it back to a fixed command post.<\/p>\n
\u201cTITAN is designed to accelerate targeting and strike, freeing dependencies on older data processing methods,\u201d Anduril said in a Sept. 1 statement.<\/p>\n
