{"id":453371,"date":"2026-09-04T13:50:08","date_gmt":"2026-09-04T13:50:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/453371\/"},"modified":"2026-09-04T13:50:08","modified_gmt":"2026-09-04T13:50:08","slug":"mixed-use-project-rises-at-1801-e-4th-st-in-santa-ana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/453371\/","title":{"rendered":"Mixed-use project rises at 1801 E. 4th St. in Santa Ana"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Framing is starting to rise for<a href=\"https:\/\/la.urbanize.city\/post\/mixed-use-complex-pushing-dirt-1801-e-4th-street-santa-ana\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> a wrap-style apartment complex at 1801 E. 4th Street in Santa Ana<\/a>, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/westportconstruction-partneringwithpurpose-ugcPost-7492701874366652416-okAQ\/?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=member_desktop&amp;rcm=ACoAAAoxdCMBNKnjm4TIPtoG5l9tFLL-3hz6DMU\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a social media post from Westport Construction.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The project from <a href=\"https:\/\/la.urbanize.city\/tags\/ledcor-properties-inc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ledcor Properties, Inc.<\/a>, which acquired the property four years ago for $51 million, will consist of a pair of \u00a0five-story buildings wrapping a central parking structures.\u00a0The completed development is to include 644 studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, atop 15,000 square feet of street-fronting retail and restaurant space. Approved plans also call for more than 1,300 parking spaces.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/urbanize.la\/tags\/ktgy-architecture-planning\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">KTGY\u00a0<\/a>is designing the Central Pointe development, which will include rooftop amenity decks above the planned parking structures.<\/p>\n<p class=\"image-and-caption\">\n<a class=\"fancybox\" href=\"https:\/\/la.urbanize.city\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/1140w\/public\/field\/image\/1801%204th%20street%20map.jpg?itok=2gWM95BZ\" rel=\"article-image-set nofollow noopener\" title=\"Bing Maps\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"image-950w article-inline-image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/1801 4th street map.jpg\" width=\"950\"\/><\/a><br \/>\n1801 E 4th StreetBing Maps<\/p>\n<p>Work on the Central Pointe will be completed in phases.<\/p>\n<p>The project is the latest in a recent series of large mixed-use development to rise east of Santa Ana&#8217;s downtown neighborhood, <a href=\"https:\/\/urbanize.la\/post\/over-900-affordable-homes-take-shape-santa-ana\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">including projects creating more than 900 affordable apartments along 1st Street<\/a>.
