The Fresno State Bulldogs are in Los Angeles as they prepare to take on the USC Trojans Friday night.<\/p>\n

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — The Fresno State Bulldogs are in Los Angeles as they prepare to take on the USC Trojans Friday night.<\/p>\n

The matchup marks the Dogs’ first game as part of the new PAC-12.<\/p>\n

The ‘Dogs have a tough task ahead going into Friday’s game as 21-point underdogs.<\/p>\n

Buchanan grad Jayden Mandal<\/a> will be under center in just his second start in four years with the Bulldogs.<\/p>\n

Head coach Matt Entz also noted that timing, accuracy and taking care of the ball helped Mandal win the starting job.<\/p>\n

USC had over 500 yards of total offense against San Jose State in its opener.<\/p>\n

The Dogs’ defense will be looking for Trojans quarterback Jayden Maiava, as his name has been brought up in early Heisman conversations.<\/p>\n

Kickoff is set for 6 pm at the Coliseum.<\/p>\n
