This\u00a0fall\u00a0education season,\u00a0California State Parks North Coast Redwoods District\u00a0will hold several free educational opportunities available for students, focused on the old-growth redwood forests, wild and scenic rivers, rugged coastlines, and the rich culture and history of Native peoples of the North Coast.<\/p>\n
Teachers and students across California can explore the wonders of California State Parks\u00a0from the comfort of their classrooms thanks to the\u00a0Parks Online Resources for Teachers and\u00a0Students (PORTS)\u00a0program. In-person guided tours\u00a0are also available and\u00a0facilitated\u00a0by\u00a0California State Park interpreters, who will be present to welcome students, support teachers and\u00a0facilitate educational activities (available\u00a0at select parks units in the\u00a0North Coast Redwoods).<\/p>\n
