The Chainsmokers\u2019 concert Friday turned into a chaotic scene when more than a dozen people were hospitalized.<\/p>\n
The San Jose Fire Department shared on X Saturday<\/a> that they responded at 8:22 p.m. on Sept. 4 to an outdoor concert at Discovery Meadow for reports of \u201cmultiple patients requiring medical attention.\u201d<\/p>\n The Chainsmokers\u2019 show took place at the urban park in downtown San Jose that night.<\/p>\n The Chainsmokers\u2019 concert Friday saw more than a dozen fans hospitalized. ABC 7 NEWS<\/p>\n The city fire department posted to social media that they responded to reports of \u201cmultiple patients requiring medical attention.\u201d The Chainsmokers are seen above at a February show. Getty Images<\/p>\n \u201cSJFD immediately requested an Ambulance Task Force, two additional advanced life support fire units, and a Battalion Chief to manage the incident and provide additional medical resources,\u201d the department shared. \u201cA total of 14 ambulances responded, and 14 patients were transported to local hospitals.\u201d<\/p>\n ABC7 reported <\/a>that police told them that 10 people had to go to the hospital, many of them because of alcohol or drugs.<\/p>\n The condition of the concert-goers is unknown and the Chainsmokers have yet to comment. <\/p>\n The EDM duo \u2014 consisting of members Alex Pall and Drew Taggart \u2014 did post concert footage Sunday on Instagram, though made no mention of the incident.<\/p>\n \u201cA total of 14 ambulances responded, and 14 patients were transported to local hospitals,\u201d officials noted. Country music legend Garth Brooks put on a secret show Sept. 3 at a Denver, Colorado, venue under the name \u201cYukon Jack,\u201d which attracted more than 2,000 fans.
