A body was found floating in Ballona Creek near Playa Vista on LA\u2019s West Side Monday morning.<\/p>\n
Emergency responders arrived at the bike path running parallel to the creek, near the Lincoln Boulevard crossing, around 8:45 a.m. after a caller reported seeing a person in the water.<\/p>\n

NBC LOS ANGELES<\/p>\n A witness who lives near the creek saw the body floating in the water when she went for a morning walk Monday.<\/p>\n \u201cI went on a morning walk along this edge of the bike path and I thought I saw something floating, but I thought, \u2018okay, it\u2019s just in my mind.\u2019 Then I went back in my house and I was looking across, and I saw it again,\u201d said the witness who gave the name Kristen.<\/p>\n \u201cI decided to walk and get a closer look.
