(FOX40.COM) \u2014 Four people were hit by gunfire in Sacramento early Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

Granite Regional Park became a crime scene after police found three women with gunshot wounds around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.<\/p>\n

FOX40 went to the park and spoke with long-term Sacramento residents about this weekend\u2019s violence.<\/p>\n

\u201cI try to avoid walking around at night, because things can get pretty scary real quick, real fast,\u201d one resident, who\u2019s lived in the city for about 21 years, said \u201cIt\u2019s crazy. People just do whatever. It\u2019s not GTA in real life, it\u2019s real life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two of the victims were sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One was treated for minor injuries at the scene.<\/p>\n

Later, officers responded to a crash near the intersection of Folsom Boulevard and State University drive. They found a man with at least one non-life-threatening gunshot wound.<\/p>\n

Broken glass, car parts and splatters of what appeared to be blood still lined the street Sunday afternoon, just steps away from Sacramento State\u2019s campus.<\/p>\n

While Sacramento Police said Sunday morning\u2019s crash was related to the shooting, they cannot confirm whether these overnight rounds of gunfire were related to a call of shots fired by Sacramento State\u2019s Parking Structure 3, near the school\u2019s stadium during a football game just hours before, around 7:15 p.m.<\/p>\n

Teo Larson and Ethan Mannion were there Saturday night when students received an alert saying to shelter in place.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got a notification my phone, everyone at the same time got the same notification,\u201d Mannion said. \u201cEveryone was kind of worried, \u2018What happened?\u2019 and we saw [it was] right next to the stadium. Didn\u2019t really hear anything, but people were a lot of worried.\u201d<\/p>\n

The university sent FOX40 an update Sunday afternoon saying, \u201cPer the Sacramento State Police Department, at this time, there is no correlation between the shots fired call last night in Parking Structure 3 on campus and the shooting victim calls at Cucamonga\/Ramona Avenue and Folsom Blvd\/State University Drive.\u201c<\/p>\n

These incidents remain under investigation. No suspect information has been released at this time.<\/p>\n

Sacramento State Police are leading the investigation into the shots fired incident on campus.
