{"id":45684,"date":"2025-11-09T20:43:13","date_gmt":"2025-11-09T20:43:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/45684\/"},"modified":"2025-11-09T20:43:13","modified_gmt":"2025-11-09T20:43:13","slug":"firefighters-free-person-stuck-under-e-line-train","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/45684\/","title":{"rendered":"Firefighters free person stuck under E Line train"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Firefighters freed a person who was stuck under an E Line train Sunday morning, according to officials. <\/p>\n<p>First responders arrived at the scene on Westwood Boulevard, near the Westwood\/Rancho Park stop on the E Line in Rancho Park, around 10:30 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>The person was under the train, which was above ground and on street level near the stop.<\/p>\n<p>It took firefighters about 30 minutes to extricate the person from beneath the train. <\/p>\n<p>The victim was taken to the hospital in \u201cat least critical condition,\u201d the department said in a statement. They did not release any information about the person.<\/p>\n<p>Metro said the incident caused delays between 15 and 25 minutes on E Line trains, but around 11:30 a.m. the agency said the station had reopened and was \u201cresuming normal service soon.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Firefighters freed a person who was stuck under an E Line train Sunday morning, according to officials.
