(FOX40.COM) \u2014 Police are searching for the suspect who allegedly stabbed a man in the stomach after a fight broke out at a West Sacramento bowling alley.<\/p>\n
The West Sacramento Police Department responded to a “large fight” around 9:30 p.m. Saturday at The BLVD on 1298 West Capitol Avenue.<\/p>\n
Officers arrived to find roughly 10 people involved in the brawl and located one man who had been stabbed in the stomach, police said.<\/p>\n
The victim, who refused to answer questions about the fight or stabbing, was sent to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n
The BLVD closed for the rest of the night following the brawl, the owner and management said in a statement Monday.<\/p>\n
The police department is actively investigating the incident.<\/p>\n
The business’s owner and management team said they are fully cooperating with investigators and searching surveillance footage from Saturday. They also plan to add more security and “entry measures” during weekend evenings.<\/p>\n
“The BLVD! has always been a place for our community to come together, have fun, celebrate, and make memories,” management wrote in a social media post on Monday. “The safety and well-being of every guest and team member who walks through our doors will always come first.”<\/p>\n
The police department has not made any arrests connected to the stabbing.<\/p>\n
