A 23-year-old man who was involved in a two-vehicle collision in Long Beach died from his injuries two weeks after the crash, police announced Wednesday.<\/p>\n
The driver, later identified as Alejandro Munoz of Los Angeles, was injured at about 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 14 at the intersection of Hayes Avenue and Anaheim Street, according to the Long Beach Police Department.<\/p>\n
Munoz was driving a 2017 Cadillac CTS and made a U-turn near the intersection when the vehicle collided with a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck headed east on Anaheim Street, police said.<\/p>\n
The pickup truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation and police do not believe that impaired or distracted driving were factors in the crash.<\/p>\n
