{"id":457117,"date":"2026-09-08T11:12:26","date_gmt":"2026-09-08T11:12:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/457117\/"},"modified":"2026-09-08T11:12:26","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T11:12:26","slug":"san-joaquin-river-search-underway-for-2-missing-after-boating-accident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/457117\/","title":{"rendered":"San Joaquin River search underway for 2 missing after boating accident"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A search resumed Monday in the San Joaquin River for two people missing after a boating incident over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>A boat was involved in an incident shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday at Prisoner Point and Hayes Beach, the San Joaquin County Sheriff&#8217;s Office said.<\/p>\n<p>Exactly what happened remains unclear, though officials say one boat overturned and sank with three people onboard.<\/p>\n<p>One person was pulled from the water with major injuries and flown to a hospital in critical condition.
