{"id":457921,"date":"2026-09-09T04:44:44","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T04:44:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/457921\/"},"modified":"2026-09-09T04:44:44","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T04:44:44","slug":"fresno-plane-crash-kills-parents-and-two-young-sons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/457921\/","title":{"rendered":"Fresno plane crash kills parents and two young sons"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A deadly airplane crash in northwest Fresno over Labor Day weekend killed four members of a family \u2014 a wife, a husband and two young children.<\/p>\n<p>Danna Eady and her husband, Craig Eady, were found outside the plane wreckage near Sierra Sky Park and taken to a hospital, where they both died from their injuries in the days following the crash. The couple\u2019s two youngest sons, Remus and Pavel, were pronounced deceased at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The identities of the parents were confirmed by the Fresno County Sheriff\u2019s Office while the children\u2019s identities have been confirmed by family and friends on social media.<\/p>\n<p>First responders found the fixed-wing, single-engine aircraft near the runway of the public-use airport attached to a residential neighborhood in northwest Fresno just before 2 p.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The couple, both 41 years old, lived in the community of Auberry in the eastern Fresno County foothills. Tony Botti                                                                            Fresno County Sheriff\u2019s Office                                                                                        <\/p>\n<p>Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer said the city is ready to do whatever it can to help in a statement released Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are no words that can adequately express the heartbreak of losing Craig and Danna Eady and their two young sons,\u201d Dyer said. \u201cOur entire community is grieving with the Eady family, especially the two surviving children who are facing an unimaginable loss.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Friends of the Eady family launched a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supportnow.org\/the-eady-family-8efc17ee-51d2-4460-83a7-e42400720d0e?utm_id=97757_v0_s00_e0_tv2_a1dennhbghbm5r&amp;fbclid=IwY2xjawUKyYtwZG9mBWV4dG4DYWVtAjExAGJyaWQRMXJZVnNNclNyeUQ1TUdHWmlzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEeQtv82Mp-2P9m-ucYXfb29g4XYNLSK82zmkSEpJRNyMYCNofqFygT4gA8A84_aem_3hsWjbXXtZIMs6nx5y5MoA\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">support fundraiser<\/a> that had raised over $73,000 as of Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Eadys have lost so much. Let\u2019s come together as a community and help carry them through what comes next,\u201d the campaign says.<\/p>\n<p>Danna Eady was a certified flight instructor at Reedley College.
