{"id":458253,"date":"2026-09-09T13:42:08","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T13:42:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/458253\/"},"modified":"2026-09-09T13:42:08","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T13:42:08","slug":"with-e15-coming-to-california-rfa-continues-program-for-states-retailers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/458253\/","title":{"rendered":"With E15 Coming to California, RFA Continues Program for State&#8217;s Retailers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After an E15 implementation bill <a href=\"https:\/\/ethanolrfa.org\/media-and-news\/category\/news-releases\/article\/2026\/09\/rfa-salutes-unanimous-passage-of-california-e15-clean-up-legislation\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">passed unanimously<\/a>\u00a0out of the California State Legislature last week, the Renewable Fuels Association turns its attention this week to the annual conference of the <a href=\"https:\/\/cfca.energy\/summit26\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">California Fuels and Convenience Alliance<\/a>, the statewide trade association that represents independent wholesale and retail marketers of gasoline. RFA plans a front-and-center trade show exhibit and a set of retailer E15 workshops at the event, which is drawing more than 1,500 attendees to San Diego.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFuel retailers have been expressing interest in the lower-cost E15 fuel blend and look forward to finally being able to offer it to their customers,\u201d said Robert White, RFA Senior Vice President for Industry Relations and Market Development. \u201cAs the final roadblocks are removed, we\u2019re working had to ensure E15 gets to the stations\u2014and drivers\u2019 gas tanks\u2014as soon as possible. Working with CFCA has really helped us make the connections to move the fuel forward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" _moz_resizing=\"true\" alt=\"Calif E15 Logo\" class=\"userUpload imgRight\" data-filename=\"Calif E15 Logo.jpg\" data-imageid=\"1805\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/300.jpeg\" style=\"width: 150px; height: 150px;\"\/>RFA kicked off its <a href=\"https:\/\/e15forca.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">E15 for California<\/a>\u00a0education campaign at last year\u2019s CFCA Summit, just as lawmakers\u2014again unanimously\u2014passed a bill to allow E15 to be sold in the state. California has the highest gas prices in the nation and became the final state to allow the blend to be sold when Gov. Gavin Newsom signed the earlier bill.
