(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community\u2019s help in identifying a man accused of kicking the security door of a home on Chester Lane.<\/p>\n<p>Police said on Sunday, July 12th, 2026, at around 11:26 p.m., the man kicked the security door of a home in the 2100 block of Chester Lane, causing significant damage.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect is described a man, late-teens to early 20s, 6\u2019 tall, 170 pounds, with a slim build.<\/p>\n<p>He was wearing a black durag, white tank top, gray pants, and white tennis shoes.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"PHOTO: BPD\" class=\"ImageEmbed_image__qZBo_\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"365\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/05d96195-e71e-4ae4-a7b7-b39ae8e9f15d-UntitledAugust202025at10.44.4120260909T095509.572.png\" width=\"648\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call Detective Perkins at (661) 326-3947 or the Bakersfield Police Department at (661) 327-7111.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
