(KGET) &#8212; The Kern County Coroner&#8217;s Office identified a man who died in a collision involving two vehicles on Thursday in the area north of Arvin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Esteban Flores Flores, 68, of Bakersfield, was driving a 2001 Honda Civic eastbound on Panama Road, west of Tejon Highway, at around 4:48 a.m. Sept. 3, according to officials.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a data-ylk=\"slk:Watch &#039;After Sunrise&#039; on KGET+; Click to learn how to get KGET+ on your smart TV devices;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;link&quot;,&quot;yLinkElementType&quot;:&quot;article_link&quot;}\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kget.com\/plus\/\" class=\"promo-link__link\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0Watch &#8216;After Sunrise&#8217; on KGET+; Click to learn how to get KGET+ on your smart TV devices\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">At the same time, a 64-year-old man from McFarland was driving a 2007 Toyota Tacoma southbound on Tejon Highway at about 60 mph.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Flores allegedly drove through the intersection and collided with the Toyota, according to the <a data-ylk=\"slk:California Highway Patrol;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;link&quot;,&quot;yLinkElementType&quot;:&quot;article_link&quot;}\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kget.com\/news\/local-news\/at-least-one-dead-after-crash-on-panama-rd\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">California Highway Patrol<\/a>. A stop sign controlled traffic of Panama Road but not the traffic of Tejon Highway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Flores was pronounced dead at the scene.
