{"id":458659,"date":"2026-09-09T22:14:14","date_gmt":"2026-09-09T22:14:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/458659\/"},"modified":"2026-09-09T22:14:14","modified_gmt":"2026-09-09T22:14:14","slug":"magic-castle-magicians-to-perform-in-new-knotts-scary-farm-show-press-telegram","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/458659\/","title":{"rendered":"Magic Castle magicians to perform in new Knott\u2019s Scary Farm show \u2013 Press Telegram"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Magic Castle magician Ruby Coby will headline a new magic show full of blood, guts and dismemberment custom-curated for a Knott\u2019s Scary Farm audience primed for a night full of thrills, chills and scares.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously with the Knott\u2019s Scary Farm audience you can\u2019t just do a normal magic show,\u201d Coby said.<\/p>\n<p>The new \u201cOccultum\u201d magic show during Knott\u2019s Scary Farm will feature a rotating lineup of magicians from the world famous Magic Castle performing in the Bird Cage Theatre at the Buena Park theme park.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re just so thrilled to finally get to partner with Knott\u2019s Scary Farm,\u201d Coby said. \u201cIt makes so much sense. It\u2019s been a long time coming.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Knott\u2019s Scary Farm 2026 runs on select nights from Sept. 17 through Oct. 31 with 10 mazes, five scare zones, three shows and more than 1,000 monsters.<\/p>\n<p>ALSO SEE: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocregister.com\/2026\/08\/18\/knotts-berry-farm-unveils-new-haunted-mazes-and-shows\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Knott\u2019s Scary Farm unveils new haunted mazes and shows for Halloween season<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Coby will return to Knott\u2019s Scary Farm after performing 35 years ago during the annual Halloween festival.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI did a show here that I knew I couldn\u2019t get away with at the Magic Castle,\u201d Coby said during a media preview at Knott\u2019s. \u201cI pounded a nail into my face. I cut my legs off with a chainsaw. I had a little tiny puppet clown that became an 8-foot-tall clown.
