{"id":458821,"date":"2026-09-10T01:26:16","date_gmt":"2026-09-10T01:26:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/458821\/"},"modified":"2026-09-10T01:26:16","modified_gmt":"2026-09-10T01:26:16","slug":"ontario-principal-arrested-in-oc-for-alleged-attempt-to-meet-with-minor-orange-county-register","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/458821\/","title":{"rendered":"Ontario principal arrested in OC for alleged attempt to meet with minor \u2013 Orange County Register"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A principal in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailybulletin.com\/2022\/01\/21\/ontario-montclair-superintendent-passes-700000-in-compensation-for-second-straight-year\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ontario-Montclair School District<\/a> was arrested in Costa Mesa on Aug. 17 on suspicion of arranging to meet a minor for lewd purposes, officials said Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Jason Kaylor, 45, the principal at Vineyard STEAM Academy in Ontario, was arrested in the 3200 block of Harbor Boulevard a little past midnight on Aug. 17 after police received a report that he allegedly was attempting to meet a minor, said Roxi Fyad, the public affairs manager for the Costa Mesa Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>Kaylor was the principal at Vineyard STEAM Academy at the time of the arrest in August, Ontario-Montclair School District Superintendent James Hammond said in an email.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOntario-Montclair School District is aware of the arrest of Jason Kaylor,\u201d Hammond shared in the e-mailed statement. \u201cThe district is also aware that there is a current investigation being conducted by the Costa Mesa Police Department.
