SOUTHFIELD, Mich. \u2013 The Oakland County Prosecutor\u2019s Office is reviewing evidence related to a shooting that left one woman dead and two others injured outside a TGI Fridays restaurant in Southfield on Friday, Sept. 4.<\/p>\n

No charging decisions have been made, the prosecutor\u2019s office said Wednesday (Sept. 9). <\/p>\n

Investigators are still awaiting test results, including toxicology reports, before completing the review<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A preliminary investigation determined that both the shooter and the woman who was killed were carrying handguns during the dispute that preceded the shooting, according to the prosecutor\u2019s office.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are working closely with the Southfield Police Department to determine exactly what happened Friday night,\u201d Oakland County Prosecutor Karen D. McDonald said. \u201cDozens of people were endangered by this shooting, and one woman lost her life. Gun owners have a responsibility to exercise good judgment and not settle disputes with gunfire.\u201d<\/p>\n

The prosecutor\u2019s office did not announce any charges in connection with the shooting.<\/p>\n

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities said they will review additional evidence and test results before deciding whether to charge anyone.<\/p>\n
