(KGET) &#8212; Ceremonies and events are set Friday to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks that claimed nearly 3,000 lives.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Both the Bakersfield police and Bakersfield fire departments are set to honor those fallen beginning at the BFD&#8217;s Station 15 on Buena Vista Road at 9:30 a.m. Another ceremony at Station 15 will take place in the evening, beginning at 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">There will be a shuttle service available at the Park at Riverwalk for both of Station 15&#8217;s ceremonies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Bakersfield High School, South High School and CTech will have memorials for students Friday on their campuses.
