{"id":458989,"date":"2026-09-10T04:32:14","date_gmt":"2026-09-10T04:32:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/458989\/"},"modified":"2026-09-10T04:32:14","modified_gmt":"2026-09-10T04:32:14","slug":"police-investigating-prowler-at-quentin-tarantinos-hollywood-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/458989\/","title":{"rendered":"Police investigating prowler at Quentin Tarantino&#8217;s Hollywood home"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Once upon a time in Hollywood, <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/entertainment\/movies\/la-wk-tarantino1mar01-pg-photogallery.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Quentin Tarantino\u2019s<\/a> mansion was nearly burgled. <\/p>\n<p>Police are looking into the report of an alleged prowler who,  \u201cclad in black,\u201d was spotted trespassing at the Oscar-winning director\u2019s Hollywood Hills mansion Wednesday afternoon. <\/p>\n<p>According to law enforcement sources, a call was received about a  prowler lurking around the 7400 block of Woodrow Wilson Drive around 12:20 p.m. Responding officers were on the hunt for  a 35-year-old man with a thin build wearing a long-sleeved black shirt and black pants (in 100-degree heat). <\/p>\n<p>According to sources familiar with the investigation but not authorized to speak publicly, there were people inside the home when the alleged cat burglar tried to enter a second-story window of the three-story home. <\/p>\n<p>Police told The Times that the suspect had fled by the time officers arrived, but a trespass report was completed. <\/p>\n<p>It is unclear whether Tarantino was home at the time of the incident, and police could not confirm whether the trespasser was successful in their burglary attempt. <\/p>\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first time the \u201cPulp Fiction\u201d filmmaker has had trouble with home intruders. <\/p>\n<p>Back in 2018, Tarantino reportedly awoke in the middle of the night to find two burglars inside his home. According to <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2018\/12\/17\/quentin-tarantino-burglars-home-robbery-jewelry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">TMZ<\/a>, he confronted the men and they booked it out of the same Hollywood Hills mansion.
