Fermin lighthouse is a hidden gem in San Pedro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If lighthouses conjure up images of pirates and seafaring adventures, the story of Los Angeles&#8217; first lighthouse is a bit tamer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Now home to the busiest port in the country, San Pedro Bay was a dangerous area for ships 150 years ago.
