The sponsorship begins with the 2026-2027 NHL season, with the new helmet designs debuting during the 2026 Rookie Faceoff this weekend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Disneyland Resort logo will be featured on helmets during all Ducks home and road regular-season games, Stanley Cup Playoff contests, and all club practices.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Walt Disney Company created the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in 1993, naming the team after their 1992 film The Mighty Ducks. In 2005, Disney sold the Ducks to Henry and Susan Samueli. The next year, the Samuelis announced the team would now be the Anaheim Ducks. The name change came with the new logo and color scheme. In 2024, the team re-adopted the <a href=\"https:\/\/wdwnt.com\/2024\/06\/anaheim-ducks-restore-original-donald-duck-logo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" aria-describedby=\"external-link-warning\">original Donald Duck-inspired logo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regardless of ownership changes and brand changes, Disneyland Resort has sponsored the Anaheim Ducks for almost a decade. As of 2026, their expanded sponsorship will also include in-arena signage, social media content, and broadcast elements.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking on the helmet update, Disneyland Resort President Jill Estorino highlighted the community connection between Disneyland and the Ducks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Anaheim Ducks are more than a hometown team, they are\u202fwoven into the fabric of our community. We\u2019re honored to continue our partnership with an organization that shares our commitment to bringing people together for unforgettable experiences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anaheim Ducks Club President Aaron Teats echoed the unique bond between the two organizations. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur partnership with\u202fDisneyland Resort\u202fcelebrates our organization\u2019s\u202froots and the special bond we continue to share with Disney.
