Dispatch audio from the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District reviewed by The Sacramento Bee reported that the driver had called 911 as well.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters arrived to find the passenger of the vehicle dead, according to dispatch logs. The female driver was hospitalized with serious injuries, according to firefighters.<\/p>\n<p>The identity of the passenger was expected to be released by the Sacramento County Coroner\u2019s Office after family are notified of the death.<\/p>\n<p>The collision prompted a closure of westbound I-80 while authorities investigated and worked to clear the scene.
