{"id":460777,"date":"2026-09-11T18:24:09","date_gmt":"2026-09-11T18:24:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/460777\/"},"modified":"2026-09-11T18:24:09","modified_gmt":"2026-09-11T18:24:09","slug":"710-freeway-to-close-for-3-weekends-in-long-beach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/460777\/","title":{"rendered":"710 Freeway To Close For 3 Weekends In Long Beach"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Motorists will be able to access both directions of the 710 at Anaheim Street during that closure.<\/p>\n<p>The following weekend, the southbound 710 will close between Anaheim Street and Pico Avenue from 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, through 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28.<\/p>\n<p>Passenger vehicles will generally be routed through downtown Long Beach using Shoreline Drive, Broadway, Magnolia Avenue and Ocean Boulevard to reach the Long Beach International Gateway Bridge. Trucks will primarily be routed using Pacific Coast Highway, the Terminal Island Freeway and Alameda Street.<\/p>\n<p>Except during the Sept. 18-21 closure, motorists will still be able to access the Shoemaker Bridge from West Seventh Street, West Third Street, West Ocean Boulevard and West Shoreline Drive east of the Los Angeles River.<\/p>\n<p>Signs will be posted throughout the affected areas directing motorists along detour routes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Motorists will be able to access both directions of the 710 at Anaheim Street during that closure.
