(KBAK\/KBFX) \u2014 The Kern County Sheriff\u2019s Office is seeking information in the <a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/mans-body-found-in-boron-shot-multiple-times-in-homicide-coroner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">2022 shooting death of 25-year-old Larry Christy Jr.<\/a>, whose body was found on a remote dirt road north of Boron.<\/p>\n<p>KCSO said on September 11, 2022, at around 8 p.m., deputies found the body of 25-year-old Larry Christy Jr. of Tehachapi on a remote dirt road about one mile north of Boron.<\/p>\n<p>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/bakersfieldnow.com\/news\/local\/mans-body-found-in-boron-shot-multiple-times-in-homicide-coroner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Man&#8217;s body found in Boron shot multiple times in homicide: Coroner<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Homicide detectives responded and assumed the investigation.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"25-year-old Larry Christy Jr. PHOTO: KCSO\" class=\"ImageEmbed_image__qZBo_\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"365\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/ee6f1679-71ce-421b-bcce-726656badfc8-UntitledAugust202025at10.44.4120260911T134638.245.png\" width=\"648\"\/><\/p>\n<p>25-year-old Larry Christy Jr. PHOTO: KCSO<\/p>\n<p>According to KCSO, it is suspected that Larry Christy Jr. was murdered sometime between the night of September 10, 2022, and the morning of September 11, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Kern County Coroner\u2019s Office, Cristy Jr.\u2019s cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n<p>Detectives are asking those who were with Larry at any time during that time period or have knowledge of what happened to come forward with information.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information is asked to call the Detective Disque at (661) 391-7669 or Secret Witness at (661) 322-4040.<\/p>\n<p>Individuals who have already spoken with law enforcement are asked to reach out again if they recall additional details.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"BAKERSFIELD, Calif.
