Sacramento fans of singer Victoria Mon\u00e9t will have a chance to see the award-winner in concert this December.<\/p>\n

The R&B and soul artist has significant local ties. She moved to the area when she was a teenager, and attended Sheldon High School in Vineyard.<\/p>\n

Along with her 2023 album JAGUAR II and hit songs such as \u201cOn My Mama,\u201d Mon\u00e9t also has written and co-written a significant number of songs for other artists, including the girl group Fifth Harmony and Ariana Grande.<\/p>\n

In the last few years, Mon\u00e9t has also earned a number of honors from the music industry. She was awarded three Grammys in 2024, including the award for Best New Artist.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Mon\u00e9t announced the October release of her new album, \u201cFrequency of Love.\u201d Her tour of the same name kicks off Oct. 27 in Raleigh, North Carolina.<\/p>\n

Sacramento is Mon\u00e9t\u2019s second-to-last stop on the tour, with a Dec. 16 concert at Memorial Auditorium. Tickets will go on sale next week<\/a>, starting Monday for presale tickets.<\/p>\n
