Eggy\u2019s is moving into the former location of Fish &amp; Bird Izakaya on Shattuck Avenue in Berkeley. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/eggysberkeley\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eggy\u2019s<\/a>, (new location address) 2451 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley<\/p>\n<p>La Val\u2019s Pizza, La Penca Azul, China Villa<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three restaurants in Alameda\u2019s Harbor Bay Landing are temporarily closed, according to reporting by <a href=\"https:\/\/alamedapost.com\/news\/red-tagged-restaurants-serve-up-concerns-about-harbor-bay-landings-future\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Alameda Post<\/a>. The restaurants were forced to shutter due to plumbing issues. It sounds like a final inspection from the city will take place in early September. Harbor Bay Landing, 883 Island Dr., Alameda<\/p>\n<p>Ristorante Due Rose<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to a tip, we learned that this longtime Italian restaurant in Pinole is closing its doors after 24 years in business. The owner told Nosh that the last day of service will be some time late October. The restaurant serves pasta, salads, pizzas, calzones, entrees like osso bucco and pollo al matone, and more. <a href=\"https:\/\/ristoranteduerose.net\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ristorante Due Rose<\/a>, 1596 Fitzgerald Drive, Pinole<\/p>\n<p>Sweet Potatoes Up Beet Cafe<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A coffee shop in El Cerrito has closed. Sweet Potatoes Up Beet Cafe served smoothies, lattes, scones, sticky buns, donuts, bagels, and more. Yelp now lists the restaurant as permanently closed.
