These people built giant cities long before Columbus was born, long before there were European nations. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s a guide to the existing monuments to visit today on public land, free, likely within an easy drive of most Missourians. Directions are included to each site, what to see there and stories of how they came to be. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The book covers 13 chapters, plus an appendix detailing 40 more Native American sites in Missouri. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Neal W.
