Maya Cinemas near Fresno State abruptly closed Friday, but a new theatre operator was announced just one day later.<\/p>\n
Campus Pointe announced Saturday that Galaxy Theatres will take over operations at the complex.<\/p>\n
\u201cGalaxy Theatres will be the new theatre operator at Campus Pointe,\u201d Campus Pointe said in a news release. \u201cGalaxy Theatres has locations throughout the western United States, including a strong presence in California.\u201d<\/p>\n
Galaxy has built its brand around its philosophy of being \u201cMore than just a Theatre,\u201d combining a first-class moviegoing experience with a commitment to the communities it serves, according to Campus Pointe.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs Galaxy begins operations at Campus Pointe, the focus will be on a smooth and timely transition, followed by planned improvements to enhance the guest experience,\u201d the release stated.<\/p>\n
It is not yet known when Galaxy Theatres will make its debut at Campus Pointe. The company said more details will be shared soon.<\/p>\n
