The Dynamo (13-8-4) had their three-game unbeaten streak snapped and lost for just the second time in their last 13 games. Houston has 43 points, tied with Dallas for second in the Western Conference and two points ahead of San Jose and St. Louis. First-place Vancouver has 46 points. <\/p>\n
The Earthquakes (12-8-5) won 3-2<\/a> at San Diego on Wednesday to snap an eight-game winless streak since returning from the World Cup break. <\/p>\n Gunn had his second MLS shutout \u2014 both against the Dynamo \u2014 in 10 career appearances, all starts.
