The San Diego Union-Tribune wants to hear from San Diegans about their housing situations. More specifically, we are interested in people who are long-term renters.<\/p>\n

More than half of San Diego County households are owner-occupied. Renters live in the rest. In 2024, San Diego had the fourth-highest percentage<\/a> of renters in the nation.\u00a0Some renters who don\u2019t own a home are priced out of the market, but others choose to rent, even if they can afford to buy.<\/p>\n

Do you live in San Diego city or county, and are you undecided between renting and buying a residence?
\nAre you able to afford a home purchase and planning to stay in San Diego for the long term, but prefer to remain a long-term renter?
