If a procedure is recommended, Devers would have the operation on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>San Francisco said Devers played with the injury for much of this season. <\/p>\n<p>Devers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/sanfrancisco\/news\/san-francisco-giants-san-diego-padres-sept-12-2026-merrill-tatis\/\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">homered in his last two games<\/a> and had eight home runs with 20 RBIs in his final 11 games.<\/p>\n<p>In the third season of a $313.5 million, 10-year contract, Devers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/boston\/news\/rafael-devers-trade-red-sox-giants-mlb\/\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was acquired from Boston in June 2025<\/a>.
