The Queen Mary<\/a>‘s long, long halls \u2014 really, we want to write “loooong” here to truly convey the lengthy nature of these ship-traversing corridors \u2014 are lined with picturesque staterooms that feel, well, a spectral.<\/p>\n

Anyone who has ever joined one of the ocean-liner’s haunting tours or ghostly gatherings understands that just every part of the Long Beach hotel and attraction boasts something of an august and otherworldly air.<\/p>\n

Now a trio of staterooms have received ethereal and individual updates, just in time for a spooky season debut. <\/p>\n

And where each overnight stay is located adds to mysterious allure: B326, B328, and B334 now make up the Queen Mary’s “Paranormal Passage,”<\/a> a possibly ghostly grouping that “… transforms some of the Queen Mary’s most enduring paranormal stories into overnight experiences.”<\/p>\n

The staterooms were “… inspired by the ship’s legendary spirits and lore,” shared the Queen Mary’s team, and each boasts an alluring name, and fascinating theme, that deepens the intrigue. <\/p>\n

The “Dressing Chamber” is an atmospheric ode to the Lady in White, “Jackie’s Room” looks to the famous phantom of the ship’s First-Class Swimming Pool for its beyond-the-veil motif, and “The Officer’s Study” considers the “legends of uniformed figures” said to be seen by some visitors around the ship.<\/p>\n

There are interactive features within each room, as well as memorable ways to connect with each of the tales represented by the design and feel of the spaces.<\/p>\n

“There’s an incredible fascination with the Queen Mary’s paranormal history and the stories that have become part of her lore,” said Dylan Matteson, General Manager of the Long Beach destination.<\/p>\n

“Our guests want to know more, explore more, and get closer to those stories.”<\/p>\n

“We’re excited to give them entirely new ways to do that. This season is about inviting visitors to experience a side of the Queen Mary that captivates generation after generation.”<\/p>\n

Events that boast an autumn aura always arise at the Queen Mary as summer winds down, with Dark Harbor, the night maze-tacular popping up on select evenings, and the new Grey Ghost Galley adding to the supernatural splendor.<\/p>\n

There’s a Spookeasy materializing, too, for those revelers seeking a spirited way to savor some spirits ahead of a “paranormal mini tour,” shivers.<\/p>\n

But the Paranormal Passage will not fade into the surrounding ocean mists when Halloween 2026 concludes; the three themed staterooms will be a year-round offering for those overnight guests who are eager to snooze in places that offer a fanciful bridge to haunting realms.<\/p>\n
