NEW YORK, NY, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE)<\/a> — STV Group, Incorporated, a leading professional services firm that plans, designs and manages infrastructure projects across North America, today announced it has acquired Southern California-based utility power engineering firm CHAMPS, Inc. <\/p>\n

CHAMPS, Inc., will now be known as CHAMPS, an STV Company. The firm provides substation engineering and design from conceptual planning through construction and energization, along with engineering studies, protection, control and automation, design packages, quality assurance and construction support for such clients as Southern California Edison. <\/p>\n

In the West, STV has delivered major projects spanning comprehensive engineering, planning and design services for commuter rail, light rail, bus, zero emissions vehicles and maintenance facilities.
