Grand in Grover Beach.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Officers arrived at the bank within three minutes of being dispatched.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"rounded-lg\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/https:\/\/media.zenfs.com\/en\/ksee_articles_968\/be65829575006ef8d24e20a5f94374e2.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Police say they learned that the suspect passed a note declaring he was robbing the bank.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">No weapons were seen, and police said the teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect, identified by police as 67-year-old Brent David Muir, left out the east side doors on foot.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to police, community cameras (CCTV) near the bank and automated license plate reader technology identified the suspect, and the suspect&#8217;s vehicle was identified within minutes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">According to police, around 1 p.m., an alert deputy with the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff&#8217;s Office located the vehicle near Highway 101 and Highway 46 in Paso Robles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Deputies made a high-risk traffic stop, and the suspect was arrested without incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">67-year-old Brent David Muir, of Bakersfield, was named as the person arrested.
