The list of Southern California football high school football teams that have played at SoFi Stadium is a long one.<\/p>\n
Leuzinger, Palos Verdes, Serra, Loyola, Lawndale, Hawthorne, Mission Viejo, Long Beach Poly, Garfield, Roosevelt, St. John Bosco, San Pedro, El Modena and Servite.<\/p>\n
Friday, the closest team to the stadium, Inglewood, will finally get its chance.<\/p>\n
Inglewood will host Long Beach Poly at SoFi Stadium, Friday night at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo get the opportunity to play in your own backyard is huge,\u201d Inglewood coach Mil\u2019von James said.<\/p>\n
This will be Inglewood\u2019s first game in the city. After opening the season at Los Alamitos, Inglewood then played consecutive games on the road in Texas and Arizona and last week, the Sentinels were in Orange County.<\/p>\n
The road trips, according to James, have brought the team together.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think it helped bring us together as a team,\u201d he said. \u201cA lot of traveling, meetings, collegiate atmosphere. It helped forge a lot of unions and bonds between the players. It was a great experience for high school kids to travel and play in different states and against different opponents.\u201d<\/p>\n
