SAN FRANCISCO – A much anticipated Raising Cane\u2019s is set to open in the Bay Area next week, marking the chicken chain\u2019s first location in San Francisco.<\/p>\n
The new restaurant will open at 211 Jefferson Street, in the heart of the popular tourist magnet of Fisherman\u2019s Wharf.<\/p>\n
San Francisco vibe <\/p>\n
The restaurant\u2019s decor was created to give off an unmistakable San Francisco vibe.<\/p>\n
“The location was designed to feel distinctly San Francisco, featuring local design elements inspired by the Bay, Golden Gate Bridge, the area\u2019s beloved sea lions, waterfront views, Alcatraz and the Wharf\u2019s Gold Rush roots,” a Raising Cane\u2019s representative\u00a0shared with KTVU.<\/p>\n
The company called the opening an important achievement for the brand.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“Opening our first San Francisco Restaurant at Fisherman\u2019s Wharf is an incredible milestone for Raising Cane\u2019s,” said Chris Zygler, the chain’s regional leader of restaurants.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Day of celebration\u00a0 <\/p>\n
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held for the grand opening, which will include community leaders, according to company representatives.<\/p>\n
A DJ will be on site to amp up the opening day energy.<\/p>\n
Other celebratory events include a Cane\u2019s hat giveaway and free box combo meal card for the first 100 combos purchased at the restaurant and a drawing awarding 20 customers free Raising Cane\u2019s for a year.<\/p>\n
Entries for the drawing will be accepted beginning at 8 a.m. with the winners being announced starting at 9 a.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The company said the new restaurant is a win-win for the company and the Fisherman’s Wharf district. The opening comes as the area has been experiencing a rebound and revitalization<\/a> following a post-pandemic downturn.\u00a0<\/p>\n “The opening furthers the Brand\u2019s investment in the Bay Area and adds new energy to Fisherman\u2019s Wharf at a time of continued momentum for the neighborhood,”\u00a0the company said in a press release. \u00a0<\/p>\n Expanding local footprint <\/p>\n The new restaurant is one of two that have been planned in the city.<\/p>\n Construction has been underway for a location at Stonestown Galleria on Winston Drive.
