LeBron James appears to be enjoying his \u201cTaco Tuesday.\u201d<\/p>\n

Seven years after James was denied in his attempt to trademark the term<\/a> \u201cTaco Tuesday,\u201d he posted a video of himself scarfing down at least three plates of tacos.<\/p>\n

The video began with James saying, \u201cHey, y\u2019all I\u2019m just chilling here, relaxing. And you know, I\u2019m not really having a good day,\u201d only to immediately respond by shouting the words \u201cSike!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know what today is. It\u2019s Taco Tuesday.\u201d<\/p>\n

James followed up his excitement by sharing a scream that echoed across Mike\u2019s Red Taco \u2014 a San Diego Taco establishment that is gearing up to open it\u2019s upcoming location in Pasadena.<\/p>\n

The reason why James was denied in his trademark attempt was due to the term being considered \u201ca commonplace term.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to ESPN, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office said: \u201cThe applied-for mark is a commonplace term, message, or expression widely used by a variety of sources that merely conveys an ordinary, familiar, well-recognized concept or sentiment message.\u201d<\/p>\n

USPTO went on to inform James\u2019 trademark company that \u201cTaco Tuesday\u201d is a \u201cwidely used message used by various parties to express enthusiasm for tacos by promoting and celebrating them on a dedicated weekday.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, his application to trademark the term was to ensure he couldn\u2019t be sued for any use of \u201cTaco Tuesday.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the past, James used to share videos of himself and his family eating tacos on social media accounts.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love tacos, and I especially love how they bring people together to create traditions and share great moments around the table with family and friends,\u201d James said in a statement released by Fox 5 in San Diego.<\/a> \u201cIn addition to having an incredible taco, Mike\u2019s Red Tacos bring those same values to life in a fresh, new way for consumers.\u201d<\/p>\n

While James has been enjoying his time on a fun trip down memory lane, it comes before new beginnings, as he is just two weeks away from joining his new team, the Philadelphia 76ers, for NBA training camp, after he signed with them this past July on a two-year, $8 million deal that includes a player option<\/a>.<\/p>\n

James spent the last eight years of his career with the Lakers, where he averaged 25.9 points, 7.9 assists, and 7.7 rebounds during his Los Angeles tenure.<\/p>\n
