{"id":466265,"date":"2026-09-17T02:32:25","date_gmt":"2026-09-17T02:32:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/466265\/"},"modified":"2026-09-17T02:32:25","modified_gmt":"2026-09-17T02:32:25","slug":"whole-foods-market-opens-fourth-sacramento-area-store","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/466265\/","title":{"rendered":"Whole Foods Market opens fourth Sacramento-area store"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Whole Foods Market opens fourth Sacramento-area store<\/p>\n<p>New Elk Grove Whole Foods is grocery retailer&#8217;s 94th in California<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcra.com\/news-team\/1f41bb28-c7a4-455b-8f7c-863fbf73bff1\" aria-label=\"Melanie Wingo profile page\" class=\"css-15eikfp\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/1789612345_457_1f41bb28-c7a4-455b-8f7c-863fbf73bff1_1610307638.jpg\" width=\"48\" height=\"48\" alt=\"Melanie Wingo\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/a>ELK GROVE, Calif. \u2014<\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"0\">A new Whole Foods Market opened its doors Wednesday in Elk Grove.<\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"1\">It is the grocery retailer\u2019s fourth store in the Sacramento area and its 94th in California.<\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"2\">The Elk Grove location at 8100 Elk Grove Boulevard is 43,000 square-feet and will be open daily with regular store hours 8:00 a.m. to  9:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"3\">KCRA 3 was there as the first of the new store\u2019s customers lined up before its doors opened.<\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"4\">Over 300 shoppers received commemorative tote bags and gift cards worth $5 to $100.<\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"5\">Elk Grove Mayor Bobbi Singh-Allen and Assemblymember Stephanie Nguyen attended the store\u2019s grand opening \u2013 marking the day with a Bread Breaking Ceremony (Whole Foods Market&#8217;s version of a ribbon cutting, the company explained).<\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"6\">\u201cSo many people come together, do brilliant work, incredible work for us to be able to build what you see here today,\u201d Anthony Galli, the Elk Grove store\u2019s team leader said. \u201cI&#8217;m just super proud to show it off and be here to serve our Elk Grove community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"7\">Whole Foods Market team members also filled a refrigerated van with donated fresh food to mark the Elk Grove store\u2019s opening day.
