\t\t\tOBITUARY\t\t<\/p>\n
Arlene was born on Valentine\u2019s Day in Wishek, North Dakota to Awald and Lois Baumann. Her family would soon move to Gridley, California where she grew up. Arlene attended Gridley High School where she was a drum majorette, cheerleader, and participated in numerous clubs. She was also crowned queen of the Butte County Fair.<\/p>\n
After graduation, Arlene attended Chico State University. She was a sorority sister at Pi Kappa Sigma. While at Chico, Arlene would meet her future husband of 64 years, Jerd Ferraiuolo. Before marrying, Arlene would work as a secretary in San Francisco and then as a stewardess for Western Airlines. Arlene flew during the glamorous \u201cgolden age\u201d of air travel which allowed her to see the world and have many adventures. <\/p>\n
Jerd and Arlene were married in 1962 and made their home in San Jose where they would raise their two children, Dana and Jason. When her children got older, Arlene worked in the Cupertino Union School District as an instructional aide. <\/p>\n
Arlene enjoyed travel, the theater, movies, museums, reading and caring for her beloved cats. At each stage of her life, Arlene made lifelong friendships. She will be remembered as a treasured wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be forever missed.<\/p>\n
Arlene is survived by her loving husband, Jerd Ferraiuolo, daughter Dana (Curt) Hansen, son Jason Ferraiuolo, granddaughter Caroline Hansen and brother Don Baumann. <\/p>\n
A service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 at noon at Darling and Fischer Campbell Memorial Chapel in Campbell, California. <\/p>\n
