Sometimes, delightful surprises arise within the old walls, such as the Anaheim Packing District which, according to Marketing Director Devon Reeves, \u201cencompasses three historic preservation projects that have been thoughtfully restored and reimagined.\u201d<\/p>\n The packing house portion of the larger district was a 1919 citrus packaging facility of the Anaheim Orange and Lemon Association reopened in 2014 as Orange County\u2019s original food hall.<\/p>\n Featuring a diverse, international array of more than 30 independent culinary artisans, vendors and eateries, it extends across two levels and about 42,000 square feet.<\/p>\n Eating opportunities span the globe from Cajun to Indian, Mediterranean to soul food, There\u2019s even a grilled cheese bar.
