FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) \u2014 A woman was found dead after a shooting on Wednesday night in central Fresno.<\/p>\n
The Fresno Police Department says officers responded to Palm and Shields Avenues around 11:09 p.m. for a shooting.<\/p>\n
When officers arrived, they found a female with a gunshot wound.<\/p>\n
Fist responders attempted life-saving measures, but was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
She has since been identified as 34-year-old Tiffany Stewart.<\/p>\n
Homicide Detectives investigated and found that there was a domestic violent incident between Stewart and her partner, 29-year-old Jeffrey Randall.<\/p>\n
The two got into an argument when in the parking lot where the shooting happened.<\/p>\n
During the argument, police say Randall shot Stewart as she was walking away from him.<\/p>\n
Randall was later found in the area and was arrested. <\/p>\n
He was booked into the Fresno County Jail for PC 187(a) – Murder.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"FRESNO, Calif.
