OAKLAND, CA, UNITED STATES, September 17, 2026 \/EINPresswire.com<\/a>\/ — New market data released today by bridgeMLS<\/a> shows the Oakland condominium market is rebounding in 2026 after a notably softer 2025, with faster sales, fewer expired listings, and prices trending upward across the first several months of the year.<\/p>\n

According to bridgeMLS data covering four years of Oakland condo transactions, the median condo sale price has risen to $492,500 year-to-date in 2026, up 3.7% from a median of $475,000 in 2025 though still below the $540,000 median recorded in both 2023 and 2024. <\/p>\n

The data also shows Oakland condos are moving considerably faster than they did last year. Median days on market fell to 32 days so far in 2026, a 20% improvement from a median of 40 days in 2025, when listings sat on the market longer than at any point in the four-year dataset.<\/p>\n

Sellers are also regaining leverage. The sale-to-list price ratio (a measure of whether homes are selling above or below asking price) climbed back above 100% in 2026 (100.75%), after dipping below asking price in 2025 (99.87%) for the first time in the four years of data reviewed. Additionally, 52.8% of condo listings have sold so far in 2026, up from 48.5% in 2025, while the share of listings expiring unsold dropped from 16.8% to 14.0% over the same period.<\/p>\n
