{"id":467687,"date":"2026-09-18T07:30:22","date_gmt":"2026-09-18T07:30:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/467687\/"},"modified":"2026-09-18T07:30:22","modified_gmt":"2026-09-18T07:30:22","slug":"bpd-arrests-man-accused-of-kidnapping-raping-11-year-old-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ca\/467687\/","title":{"rendered":"BPD arrests man accused of kidnapping, raping 11-year-old | News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bakersfield police announced the arrest this week of a 29-year-old man it accused of kidnapping and raping an 11-year-old girl two weeks ago.<\/p>\n<p>Antonio Rafael Gomez Martinez was taken into custody on suspicion of contacting the victim close to her home on Sept. 3 then returning her to an area nearby more than four hours later, the Bakersfield Police Department said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>The release said it identified and located Gomez Martinez using information provided by the victim in combination with data gathered from Flock surveillance cameras.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Detective B.
