NB I-75 at Baldwin Road in Oakland County reopens following freeway shooting investigation<\/a><\/p>\nPolice closed northbound I-75 at Baldwin Road for hours as they investigated the shooting. No injuries were reported, and the freeway has since reopened.<\/p>\n
After further investigation, Michigan State Police identified the suspect, found their car and located a gun believed to have been used in the shooting.<\/p>\n
The suspect was arrested and was taken to the Oakland County Jail pending arraignment on charges of felonious assault and carrying a concealed weapon.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Michigan State Police takes freeway shootings and incidents of road rage involving firearms extremely seriously,\u201d state police said in a statement on X early Thursday morning. \u201cThese crimes put everyone traveling on our freeways at risk, and they will be thoroughly investigated. Those responsible will be identified and held accountable through the criminal justice system.\u201d<\/p>\n
